David is a Certified Accountant and Corporate Finance Practitioner. He provides expert advice to new start ups, finance raising for a wide range of companies, mergers and acquisitions and management buy-outs and buy-ins in many sectors.
David is an entrepreneurial individual himself having personally formed and operated 2 successful businesses. He utilises this hands-on experience to enable him to understand the challenges businesses face at each stage of their development, particularly those in the start up phase where most companies need the most support and guidance.
During recent years he has assisted clients in raising over £50 million in various forms of funding ranging from new start up investment to supporting the growth of well established UK companies. Raising these funds has enabled David to build excellent relationships with a number of banks and funding providers.

A Chartered Accountant who joined the profession with Arthur Andersen, Phil likes to work closely with his clients. His computer skills have been employed by one of the region´s largest independent firms as head of computer consultancy services, before joining CM chartered accountants in 1993. He is therefore naturally an advocate of using computers extensively in business – but more importantly, he makes the time to show his clients what can be possible, and helps them to realise their full potential. Phil also has particular expertise in property matters with over 50 clients in this sector.
