What is a Tier 1 Investor Visa?

If you are looking to invest £2,000,000 or more in UK government bonds, share capital or loan capital in active and trading UK registered companies, then the Tier 1 Investor route is available to you.
A visa will enable you (but not required) to undertake an employment position within the business, continue with or commence your studies, or engage in other business activities within the UK. In addition you are also permitted to bring up to an additional four family members and dependants with you.
